Under Irrigation project Kanday a two day dialogue -cum- learning session at hamlet level was organized from 5th to 7th December 2018.The prime objective of the session was to form farmer organizations (FOs) and Village producer group (VPG) which would further link farmers to the market for the sale of their agricultural produce.
In the session, 149 farmers were organized in 5 FOs and formed Village producer Group (VPG) at top echelon of the organization. Furthermore, village development plan was formulated by utilizing PRA tools and techniques and women participation was ensured in the formulation of VDP.
At the end of session, the members of FOs in their reflection highly commended the efforts of ETI-GB for providing valuable learning platform for the farmers of the area.
