On 11th February 2019, ETI-GB signed partnership agreement with North Pole Fruit Traders with an objective to enhance income of small farmers in District Gilgit. Through this agreement, 300 small apricot growing farmers will be equipped with necessary tools and equipment required for apricot processing and capacity building of 300 farmers will be ensured in order to reduce post-harvest losses of apricot fruit. Furthermore, ETI-GB will also support in up-gradation of North Pole Fruit Trader’s existing processing facility under off-farm grant category for further value addition of farmer’s produce.
